Tombstone jumped on top to stay in the 3rd inning with 2 runs on 2 hits. After an out was recorded, Adam Melhuse was the sparkplug when he slapped a one-base hit. Edgar Renteria came next and he cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 3rd of the season). Tombstone banged out 15 on the afternoon. Silva(6-1) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Ben Sheets(7-6) was given the loss. He served up 3 gopher balls in 6 and 2/3 innings.
